We are looking for a maintenance/janitorial worker.

　　Description:Under the supervision of the Maintenance Lead, the Maintenance Worker ensures that facilities are kept clean and in good repair.

　　Completes work order requests and other assignments in a safe and timely manner.Assists with minor plumbing, electrical repairs, carpentry and painting.Sets up and removes equipment to and from various rooms.Performs daily trash picks of grounds and parking lots.Performs custodial duties as needed.Delivers material between locations on a daily basis. (Box Truck)Responsible for operating and maintaining snow removal equipment.Will work irregular hours as necessary in order to ensure facilities and grounds are clean and safe during all hours of operation.Assists with the training and orientation for newly hired maintenance staff.WAGE:$16.88/hr - $19.55/hour based on experienceShifts:11:30a.m. - 8:30 p.m., including weekends.two 15 min breaks and an hour for lunch.

　　MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or general education degree (GED);

　　Ability to read, write and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies and procedures, biohazard handling procedures and the Library's emergency manual and OSHA/MIOSHA Safety Plan.Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.Demonstrate ability to type using a PC.MUST HAVE CHAUFFER DRIVER'S LICENSEAbility to exercise discretion, make reasonable and sound judgments, and maintain confidentiality.```{=html}
