　　Maintenance Technician

　　What you'll do: As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for providing a variety of general maintenance and repair duties to maintain the overall care and upkeep at an assigned apartment complex. Other responsibilities include:

　　Performs general building maintenance at the direction of the Team Leader, Community Director, management or customer. Includes the inspection and performance of maintenance of common areas, building exteriors, resident suites, roof, supply closets, mechanical rooms, vacant apartments and any other building areas that need maintained.

　　Complete all documentation within 24 hours, including an explanation of follow-up if the job requires more than 24 hours and a follow up plan.

　　Snow removal at assigned properties as directed by Team Leader or park snow captain. Achieving a 7:30 a.m. deadline for all snow removal. Includes monitoring vendors.

　　Maintaining certification to manage pools in accordance with safe operating practices.

　　Drive to assigned properties and various locations as directed by Management.

　　Provide weekend and after-hour building coverage, on an on-call basis, as assigned.

　　Comply with Fair Housing and applicable Tax Credit laws.

　　What it takes to join our team:

　　High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

　　Valid driver's license.

　　Previous maintenance experience or general repair knowledge & techniques along with a familiarity with common hand tools desired.

　　Ability to work independently or as part of a team and receive additional training and education.

　　Solid work ethic, honest, trustworthy and professional.

　　Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact pleasantly with customers.

　　Availability to provide weekend and after-hour building coverage on an on-call basis as needed.
