　　Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

　　Safely troubleshoots, repairs, and executes all preventive maintenancetasks on injection molding related equipment required in manufacturingoperatioDismantles machinery and equipment to gain access for preventivemaintenance or repair diagnoses. Removes and replaces worn or defective parts.Cleans and lubricates shafts, pulleys, gears, bearings, bushings,etc. Repairs hoses, wiring, valves, etc., reassembles and verifiesproper functMust be able to perform injection unit teardown, cleaning,inspection, measure and reassembly.Inspects and tests machinery and equipment to detect causes ofmalfunctions.Must be able to interpret electrical drawings and schematics in thetroubleshooting process.Ability to perform job functions with a meticulous attention to detail forcompleting the job correct the first time.Ability to train other technicians on injection molding equipment asrequired.Analyzes Fault Reports and service requests from personnel, diagnoses anddetermines appropriate course of action, accurately documents all work,findings and expenses in the appropriate interface, closes work orders andservice requests in a timely manner according to procedure.Effectively communicates with outside equipment suppliers to obtaincompetitive quotes, resolve equipment performance, maintenance, andreliability issues.Efficiently shares information, ideas, and experiences with coworkersto contribute to the team atmosphere of continual improvement andeffective/efficient processes.Maintains meticulous housekeeping with regard to work areas, tools,instruments and other company equipment to continually reflect the highstandards of the company.Performs purchasing duties for the replacement of equipment componentsusing the company's ERP software to generate, process, receive and closePurchase Orders; where applicable, administers the proper and appropriateuse of a company-supplied credit card including maintaining an electronicaccount and submitting timel month-end statements for approval.Other duties as assigned.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

　　Must be able to work effectively within OSHA mandated safety guidelines andperform tasks in a safe manner using proper methods and tools.Must have knowledge of and apply energy control procedures (lockout/tag out) properly.Must be able to use the company's electronic MSDS database, read,understand and use MSDS sheets.Completes scheduled work on time, accurately and completely with minimalsupervision.In-depth knowledge of mechanics and strong mechanical reasoning skills.Knowledge of electronics including 24vdc-208/3ph vac.Knowledge of AC drives and motors.Comprehension of steel stone and lapping practices.Must be able to use standard hand tools, repair and diagnosticinstruments and tools.Must be able to safely operate and maintain general powered industrial lawnequipment, lawn tractor, propane-powered forklift and company vehicle.Must be able to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.Must be able to interpret standard machine manuals provided by equipmentsuppliers.Must understand and be able to apply ISO 9001 concepts.Must have good oral and written communication skills. Ability to read,analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professionaljournals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to writereports, business correspondence and work instructions and procedures manuals.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions fromgroups of managers and others.Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest,commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
