Job Description

　　Inframark is looking to hire a Maintenance Technician I at their Huntington Park CA Operations. Looking for a candidate that has a valid California State Water Resources Control Board Water Distribution/Treatment Operator Grade D1/T1 certification. Valid California commercial driver license desirable. (Class B with tank endorsement)

　　Salary requirements: $21.00-$24.00/hr depending on level of experience.

　　The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for assisting the crew with repairs, customer service, dig alerts, replacing water meters and valve exercising.

　　RESPONSIBILITIES

　　Assists Lead Maintenance Technician in performing various maintenance tasks

　　Cleans and maintains tools and equipment

　　Prepares rigs for daily use

　　Repairs or replaces pumps, motors, gearboxes, blowers, belt presses, and other equipment

　　Maintains files and records of work orders and task completion

　　Cleans shop area as assigned

　　Understands and adheres to all company health and safety procedures as they relate to essential job functions

　　QUALIFICATIONS

　　Ability to write simple correspondences

　　Ability to follow written and oral instructions

　　Willing to learn and help

　　Previous water or wastewater treatment experience is desirable

　　Willing to work all shifts including: weekends, holidays, evenings, and 24-hour emergency on call

　　EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

　　High school diploma or equivalent and 0-1-year related experiences and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience

　　CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

　　Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)

　　Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)

　　PHYSICAL DEMANDS

　　Must be able to frequently lift 50 pounds

　　Able to climb ladders and stairways

　　Able to pass fit-test for Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus

　　Must be able to access confined spaces
