Job Overview:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform general maintenance tasks including general upkeep, cleaning, painting, and building/ equipment maintenance and repairs to keep systems operational and the community safe and clean.
Compensation: $18+ per hour, depending on experience
FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Your Responsibilities:
Partner with the Maintenance Supervisor to verify the completion of work orders with activity being logged dailyAssist in the preparation and implementation of a preventive maintenance program for the buildings, including photos and maintenance schedulesPerform minor maintenance (plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall repair, pressure washing) on buildings, systems, common areas and amenitiesPerform general cleaning duties around common areasSet up, arrange and remove decorations or tables for on site events and meetingsKeep pool area clear of any debrisEmpty and clean trash receptacles as neededClean, sanitize and supply restroomsClean and maintain all furniture, low-level windows, glass partitions and mirrors as neededClean floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, steam cleaning and shampooing as neededMaintain an equipment log and order supplies as neededPerform other related duties and responsibilities as assignedSkills and Qualifications:
General knowledge of building mechanics, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical requiredEducation and Experience:
HOA residential maintenance OR equivalent: 2 years (Preferred)Excellent handyman skills, including maintenance in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC (2 years Preferred)Physical Requirements:
Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assignedAble to lift to 50+ poundsWork Location: Safari Drive Community Association; 4747 N Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8a - 5p with on-call as needed for emergency situations
