Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Join a good company as a Maintenance Technician in a steel manufacturing environment! You will be integral in maintaining and repairing fabrication equipment used to process steel. This role directly supports local manufacturers by ensuring the smooth operation of machinery such as cranes, lasers, shears, and more.

Hard Skills

Mechanical ability to work on gears, bearings, rollers, shafts, and millwright type of work

Electrical ability to troubleshoot control panels, contactors, and sensors using a multimeter

Reading blueprints and schematics

Metal fabrication

480v electrical cabinet troubleshooting and maintenance

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Chattanooga, TN.

Work Environment

Large fabrication shop/manufacturing environment that is bustling yet retains a laid-back atmosphere.

Pay: $25-$28/hr, depending on experience

Shift: 3rd shift

Schedule: Monday-Friday with OT on occasional Saturdays, but not very often. Probably 45-50 hrs a week.
