Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician Job Summary: An IndustrialMaintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the properfunctioning and maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment. Responsibilities: EquipmentMaintenance: Conduct routine inspections of industrial machinery toidentify and address potential issues. Perform preventive maintenancetasks to ensure equipment reliability and longevity. Diagnose and repairmechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely manner.Troubleshooting: Identify the root causes of equipment malfunctions andimplement effective solutions. Collaborate with other team members toaddress complex technical problems. Documentation: Maintain accuraterecords of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, andinspections. Update equipment manuals and documentation as needed.Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to create asecure working environment. Participate in safety training programs andensure compliance with OSHA regulations. Collaboration: Coordinate withproduction and operations teams to minimize downtime and optimizeworkflow. Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and othermaintenance staff. Upkeep of Tools and Equipment: Ensure that tools andequipment are properly maintained and calibrated. Report any faultytools or equipment for timely replacement or repair. ContinuousImprovement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and suggestenhancements to increase efficiency. Stay informed about advancements inmaintenance technology and techniques. Knowledge of Ammoniarefrigeration is a plus. Qualifications: High school diploma orequivalent; technical certification or associate degree in industrialmaintenance is a plus. Proven experience as an industrial maintenancetechnician or a related field. Strong knowledge of mechanical,electrical, and HVAC/hydraulic systems Proficiency in using hand andpower tools. Familiarity with computerized maintenance managementsystems (CMMS). Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. PhysicalRequirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (lift up to100lbs, carry up to 50lbs). Comfort working in confined spaces or atheights. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and stand forextended periods.
