Provide mechanical and electrical maintenancesupport to ensure proper upkeep of complex equipment. Duties andResponsibilities: Ensures cost-effective installation, monitoring andmodification of manufacturing equipment. Resolves problems in equipment,process, or materials as needed Interfaces with internal and externalcustomers, suppliers, and/or equipment vendors to resolve equipmentissues. Identifies equipment improvement opportunities and modifiesequipment to reinvent improper operation. Performs reactive maintenanceon production equipment utilizing electrical, electronic, pneumatic,hydraulic, and mechanical trouble shooting techniques. Assists inscheduling time to perform PM\'s on production equipment. Assists indevelopment of PM schedule. Assists in the training ofelectro/mechanical technicians as needed. Assists in keeping accuratemaintenance records and information on production and facilitiesequipment. Assists in maintaining inventory of spare parts and supplies.Communicate with Engineering and Production personnel to resolveequipment related process problems. Performs PM\'s and responds toreactive maintenance calls on a variety of production equipment therebykeeping machines operating at peak efficiency. Performs other duties asassigned. Essential Knowledge and Skills: Working knowledge ofmechanical and electrical drawings is necessary. Good communication andleadership skills is preferred. Basic understanding of Microsoft Windowssoftware is preferred. A strong background in electrical and electronics(digital and analog), mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics is preferred.Use of all types of shop equipment so the ability to weld differenttypes of metals, different types of plastics and operate a machine mill& lathe a plus.
