Position Summary:NOVO is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure safe and reliable operations by performing preventative maintenance and repair within our 3 facilities.Primary Responsibilities:
Performs preventive maintenance on all NOVO machines within all 3 facilities.PM can include measurement of wear, replacement of belts, hoses, fluids, filters, etc. and inspection/evaluation of operating characteristics such as speeds, pressures, vacuum, or vibration.Analyzes findings during PM and recommends changes to PM content based upon findings.Documents all PM.Completes assigned work orders and documents completion.Completes general building repairs, including repair and painting of walls, doors, floors, etcCompletes repairs to plumbing system including fixing leaks and stoppages, repairs or replacement of sinks, piping, valves or drainsPerforms shift "rounds" using a checklist to document performance characteristics (i.e., operation modes, pressures, temperatures, etc.) of facility systems and equipment.Performs PM and repairs on dock equipment - Overhead doors, dock levelers, dock locks and seals.Maintain a safe and clean work area. Demonstrate basic safe work practices based on company and customer policies and procedures.Qualifications:
Have at least 3 years' experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics and basic electrical repair.Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.Ability to write detailed repair reports and must have excellent verbal communication skills.Post-secondary education and/or a technical trade certificate are an asset but not a requirement.Expertise and proficiency with basic office computer software, and the ability to learn how to effectively use maintenance software to input data and research parts.Benefits:
