Description:
Follows safety regulations by demonstrated knowledge and ability.
GMP compliance by demonstrated knowledge and ability.
Performs electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance work in repair, dismantling, assembling, and installing and maintaining industrial machinery and systems. The ability to work on any of the three shifts whenever necessary.
Diagnose cause of electrical or mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment and perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
Develops, modifies, and troubleshoots programming of PLC’s, Robotics, and Frequency Drives on process and packaging equipment as necessary.
Assists, coach, and train associates in diagnosing/troubleshooting malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
Utilizes good interpersonal skills and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships.
Actively participates in Team Meetings, Production Meetings, and Project Meetings and confers with other Technicians, Group Leaders, Engineers, and Managers to coordinate activities in various departments. Acts as a contributing and valuable team member with all associates.
Assists managers with Maintenance Department projects as necessary.
Requisitions and assists with maintaining a supply of spare parts utilizing the inventory management system within CMMS System. (SAP)
Understands and Utilizes Microsoft Windows Office Suite of software products in training, report writing, and data analysis.
Establishes a database to keep and maintain accurate records of all current production software programs, updates, and technology advancement opportunities.
Maintains a living project list, kept up to date and easily accessible by the team. Communicates any issues in projects or scope creep.
Establishes and/or adjusts work schedules and procedures to meet production schedule requirements.
Recommends and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency and looks for ways to improve the overall process.
Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
Is available outside normal work hours for technical support.
Develops and maintains a focused training schedule. Training will be segmented into various skill levels from the basics through advanced to achieve efficient growth in student knowledge. Schedules and training material will be continuously updated to keep pace with technology developments.
