Aerotek is hiring full time multi-craft maintenance technicians for positions at one of our clients' production facilities. We are looking for mechanics with some experience under their belt, who are skilled in both electrical and mechanical repairs. This is a great opportunity for early career mechanics or those who are looking to make an entry into the industrial automation field.
Description:
A successful candidate in this role will be able to work both independently and with other plant technicians to perform preventative and predictive maintenance. Day to day, mechanics will be expected to troubleshoot issues and perform predictive maintenance on plant equipment, as well as assist with equipment installation and general maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Provide support to the manufacturing teams by repairing industrial equipment including:
electrical components, motors, pumps, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems
Ability to read, interpret and analyze electrical & mechanical schematics, block diagrams and flow charts
Posses working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
Industrial welding experience is a plus
Minimum Qualifications:
Professional experience in industrial maintenance or related fields
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Basic working knowledge and troubleshooting skills of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Computer literacy
Knowledge of industry safety standards:
lock out, tag out principles, OSHA safety standards, MSDS/EPA etc
PAY RATE & SHIFT:
Shifts are on a 2-2-3 schedule 7am - 7pmSKILLS:
maintenance, multi-craft, technician, mechanical, electrical, controls, PLC, programming, motor and pump repair
