Description:

　　Maintenance Technicians are responsible for troubleshooting and repairing machine breakdowns as well as maintaining a preventative maintenance (PM) schedule. Being that they are a production facility, breakdowns will need to be fixed and up and running as soon as possible in order to minimize downtime. When there is a machine issue techs will need to troubleshoot and then repair the issue. They could be working on 3phase motors, helping install machines that are run by 480v, and pneumatic systems. At times techs will need to replace VFDs that are controlling motors as well as some basic PLC Troubleshooting by understanding how they work and utilizing the error messages the by checking the inputs and outputs. Candidates do NOT need programming experience.

　　Work with Maintenance Coordinator to order spare and replacement parts

　　Liaise with outside contractors

　　Coordinate with production and quality feedback on the functionality of machinery and equipment

　　Report defects and damages to the maintenance manager and others as necessary

　　Comply with industry standards and champion quality/safety regulations of a food manufacturing operation

　　Maintain all records of the repair and maintenance works conducted

　　Time management and meet all specified deadlines

　　Troubleshoot and Maintain automated packaging equipment

　　Install, rebuild, service, troubleshoot - food processing equipment (Kettles, Pasteurizers, Fillers, Carton Formers and Closers, Robotics, Boilers, Air Compressors

　　Filling and packaging equipment - Italian machines

　　Don’t have hydraulics, have pneumatics, gear backs, bearings, belts.

　　Have a lot of valves, belts

　　Complete preventative maintenance schedules

　　Repair or refurbish equipment when irregularities occur

　　Electrical

　　Troubleshoot and maintain PLC/PC controllers, industrial networks and electrical distribution systems

　　Main thing with electrical, ability to trouble shoot. No programming, basic electrical - censors, bad cables, basics. Experience up to 480v

　　Complete preventative maintenance schedules

　　80/20 - mechanical / electrical

　　PPE- Steel Toed Boots

　　3-7 years of experience of the following within the last year:

　　Mechanical and Electrical troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment- using a multimeter, reading electrical schematics, 3phase motors, Pneumatic troubleshooting- repair of pneumatic cylinders, motors, pumps, and valves- There are controllers that are working the pneumatic movements.

　　preventative maintenance- oiling, greasing, tightening belts

　　NICE TO HAVES:

　　Food and Beverage experience

　　PLC knowledge- troubleshooting PLCs by hooking up a laptop and reading the ladder logic

　　DISQUALS

　　Candidates that only have an auto mechanic background, etc... required to have experience with industrial machinery.
