Ferrous Processing and Trading a business of Cleveland-Cliffs has an immediate opportunity for a Maintenance Technician at the Lonyo operation. The Maintenance Technician will repair and maintain machinery and production equipment with assistance as needed.

　　Summary of Responsibilities:Visually inspects and listens to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctionsDismantles machines and equipment to gain access to the problem areaChanges hose assemblies and conveyor beltsRemoves and replaces worn or defective parts of the drive mechanism or hydraulic systemLocates damaged air and hydraulic pipes on machines and installs a new pipeStarts machines and equipment to test operation following repairWork in a safe manner, following all relevant safety policies and procedures

　　Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDMinimum of one year experience as a Machine Repair TechnicianBasic knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systemsStrong attention to detailEffective verbal and written communicationSelf-motivated and self-directedPre-Employment background, physical, and hair drug screen required
