Amazon is seeking for Senior Reliability Maintenance & Engineering (RME) Technicians to join our Maintenance & Engineering team at our Fulfillment Center in Moorebank on Day Shift.

As a Senior RME Technician, you will play a key role in guiding the technical team in providing both reactive and pro-active maintenance services on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure within the Fulfillment Center.
The Senior RME Technician will have a significant impact on customer experience. You’ll have the ability to lead other Engineering Technicians, design solutions for challenging problems, able to manage outside contractors, handle multiple projects and daily activities.
Please note that the shift pattern is based on a business need and requires availability for Day Shift (10 hour shifts x4 days a week between Monday to Friday) and requires appropriate working rights to work permanently in Australia.
Key job responsibilities
Act as an ambassador for safety within the team and to promote safe working across the site,
Provide supervision and leadership to Maintenance Technicians,
Mentor technicians by motivating, providing guidance and directions to help them achieve their goals,
Develop and maintain a good working relationship with all stakeholders across all levels in the organisation,
Develop and deliver Preventive Maintenance programs,
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot all Fulfillment Center systems including operational equipment and facilities.

Basic Qualifications
Formal trade qualification as Mechanical Fitter/Turner, or Current Electrical License including hands-on experience,
Experience in leading and supervising a team,
Must be highly self-motivated and customer-centric,
Ability to communicate (written & verbal) in English,
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize many different projects and workload,

Preferred Qualifications
Multi skilled in both electrical or mechanical disciplines preferred within a maintenance focused role,
Demonstrated ability to manage, coach and influence others on the team,
Foundational knowledge of PLC based controls systems preferred,
Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks,
Experience in contractor management.
