　　The Maintenance Supervisor provides oversight and direction for multiple associates within Publix Facility Services maintenance teams. The incumbent manages sub-departments responsible for internal operations and supplier management required to maintain Publix facilities for all divisional retail stores. The Maintenance Supervisor provides ongoing support for department objectives, deliverables, and manages operational costs for maintenance and repairs.

　　Additional responsibilities include:

　　directs activities that maintain facilities and equipment, controls expenses and ensures equipment up-time to support sales

　　manages divisional service contractors and other suppliers that support our retail stores to acknowledge alignment, address performance issues, resolve escalated customer service complaints and questions and manages overall supplier quality

　　assists the Divisional Assistant Manager - Maintenance in the development of scopes for SAVE remodel evaluations, projects and special requests for budgeting, approvals and scope acceptance to maintain existing facilities to grow sales

　　Year End Bonus:

　　To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.

　　Required Qualifications:

　　Associate’s Degree in Business or 2-year certification from a Trade School or equivalent

　　at least three (3) years’ construction management experience OR at least three (3) years’ service management experience AND at least five (5) years’ equipment field repair experience

　　knowledge of equipment servicing; including electrical, plumbing, power generation, mechanical, natural and propane gas, and general construction

　　knowledge of architectural plans and electrical schematics

　　knowledge of Service Supplier Selection process

　　excellent communication skills both verbal and written

　　advanced analytical and critical thinking skills

　　ability to facilitate team projects and meetings

　　basic knowledge of Microsoft Office; Word and Excel

　　willingness to work a varying schedule, including nights, holidays and weekends when required

　　willingness to travel overnight on occasion

　　willingness to be on call 24/7

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Bachelor’s Degree in Business or four-year certification from a Trade School

　　five (5) or more years’ construction management OR five (5) or more years’ service management
