　　Engineers on the Network Engineering WLAN (NE-WLAN) Services Team are responsible for designing, implementing, supporting, and maintaining enterprise wireless networking systems. These technologies include Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers, Prime, DNA-C, DNA Spaces, and ISE. Additionally, the Ekahau all-in-one product suite is used for design, surveying, and troubleshooting.

　　Some examples of these tasks include:

　　design, installation, configuration, integration, and support of Cisco WLAN networking hardware such as Wireless LAN Controllers, Access Points (AireOS and IOS-XE), and Sensors

　　use of Ekahau software to design Wi-Fi networks and also perform surveys for post installation validation and problem analysis

　　use of software tools such as Omnipeek for capturing Wi-Fi traffic over the air

　　knowledge of network security standards, best practices, research, and remediation

　　perform analysis of network security needs and contribute to design, integration, and configuration of both networking hardware and software

　　problem-determination, resolution and root cause analysis

　　security vulnerability remediation

　　tier 3 support escalation and on-call rotation

　　cross functional project team participation

　　forward thinking vision and new technology awareness, research

　　As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.

　　Required Qualifications:

　　Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or other analytical disciplines, or equivalent experience

　　minimum of 1-2 years (2-3 years for Senior) engineering experience with Cisco wireless (WLAN) technologies in an enterprise environment

　　proficiency with Wi-Fi Design and Wi-Fi Planning using Ekahau, Cisco Prime or equivalent software

　　extensive knowledge and understanding of Wi-Fi RF technologies and standards

　　successful and proven track record of leading large-scale projects, extensive background in the design, planning, and implementation of complex Cisco wireless networks, and the ability to quickly understand the complex enterprise network at Publix

　　practical knowledge of systems hardening processes, guidelines, and benchmarks

　　experience with network management platforms and products

　　excellent verbal and written communication with reputation for being a team player

　　flexible and able to handle stressful situations in a professional manner

　　demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
