Job Summary The Maintenance Supervisoris responsible for the direct supervision and coordination of themaintenance department functions and programs. Directs and coordinatessupport services. Training and development of its employees. PrincipalDuties and Responsibilities Assists in interviews and hiring processesOrientates and trains maintenance personnel Coaches counsel employees,and initiates discipline as required Evaluates the performance ofsubordinates Develops and implements preventative and other maintenanceprograms to ensure proper equipment operation Identifies, researches,and resolves problems Coordinates maintenance activities with theoperating department\'s requirements Leads employees in continuousimprovement and safety initiatives Performs regular/preventativemaintenance on all machinery, tools, and buildings Develops, implements,and supervises the plant\'s Preventive Maintenance program Repairsmachinery, equipment, buildings, and other Company assets in accordancewith diagrams, operating manuals, and manufacturing specifications, orby management request Orders supplies and parts as required, atcompetitive pricing and rates Maintains records of repair/maintenanceactivities, per Company policy Prepares other reports as requiredPerforms duties consistent with established safety rules and proceduresPerforms other duties as required Qualifications Post-high schooleducation is required Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in machinerepair and maintenance area; 1 to 3 years of experience managing peopleWorking knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and control technology, andwelding Working knowledge of safe equipment practices and applicablelaws, rules, and regulations Demonstrate working knowledge of hazardouswage and hazardous material handling procedures and practices Workingknowledge of the use of precision tools, measuring instruments, andother hand tools Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and otherbusiness software Preferred understanding of company policies,practices, and procedures Must be at least 18 years of age The Companyis an Equal Opportunity Employer.
