JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Description The Maintenance Supervisor willassistwith all maintenance activities to ensure maximum operational potentialis realized for the entire plant operation. This includes all functionsin the areas of Maintenance Business Management, Maintenance MaterialsInventory (MRO), Maintenance Recruit to Retire, Manufacturing ProcessReliability and Equipment Reliability, e.g. departmental budgets,computerized maintenance management systems, preventive/predictive andcorrective maintenance programs. Also, Technical Skills Management ofelectrical, electronics, controls programming, mechanical systems(process equipment, packaging equipment), waste treatment, stockroom,building and grounds, utilities systems including but not limited toboiler and ammonia refrigeration. Assistance with the development,coordination and execution of maintenance related capital budget itemsin concert with engineering. Key Responsibilities of the Role Directsmaintenance personnel to ensure that all systems operate at theirhighest capability to meet required production schedules, quality, costsand schedule priorities Improves reliability, maintenance and processingmethods to reduce cost and avoid loss of production as a result ofequipment malfunction or failure time. Determines equipmentcapabilities, safety and operational condition in coordination with theother Supervisors and technicians. Develops preventative maintenanceprocedures that are cost effective and increase the operational life ofthe equipment. Seek and implement the continuous improvement of theprocess through equipment improvement modifications. Assist in thedevelopment of the system and operational standards and correctiveactions. Develops, implements and reviews regularly, site-specificmaintenance logs for department. Coordinates, arranges, and supervises,or provides for the completion of corrective and preventive maintenancein accordance with company operating procedures, practices and financialconsiderations. Provide maintenance training to include the effectiveutilization of the maintenance logs, completion of routinemaintenancespecific to facility, equipment operations and support.
