MAINTENANCE POSITION

　　Our maintenance department in responsible for maintaining both the interior and exteriors of our vacation homes as well as our office.Ideal candidate will enjoy working both indoors and outdoors, always have a professional customer service driven attitude, be dependable and be a team player.

　　Knowledge of general household repairs, general tools, basic lawn equipment and general phone app knowledge is required. This position requires on-call availability as well as weekend workdays all summer and use of your own vehicle and basic tools.Duties include, but are not limited to:General household maintenance and repairs including unclogging toilets, replacing door locks, lighting water heater pilots, replacing garbage disposals and/or furnace filters, screen repair/replacement, minor plumbing, replacing light-bulbs, moving and/or assembling furniture/items, adjusting/replacing doors/hinges, internet and tv troubleshooting, minor drywall patching and more.

　　Assist the maintenance manager as needed on projects that require additional help.Preparing homes for arrival as needed to include blowing off sand and debris from decks, cleaning grills, weeding and garbage removal. Winter months require the use of a snow blower and shoveling and seal walkways.The majority of the work will be performed within a very small radius in Michigan City however, we do service a few properties at times as far as 20 miles from Michigan City that, on occasion, will require more travel.
