JOB REQUIREMENTS: Duties and Responsibilties of Job: MAINTENANCEMECHANIC Loparex is a leading, global manufacturer of silicone releaseliners, used in a wide variety of pressure sensitive adhesiveapplications is looking for a seasoned Maintenance Mechanic for ournight shift. This position will work 5pm to 5am on a 2-2-3 schedule.Loparex offers a competitive pay and benefits package. ResponsibilitiesInstall and repair assigned equipment, including bearings, rollers,chains and belt drives, machined components, etc. Perform basic milling,grinding, drilling, rigging and carpentry duties. Diagnose machinemechanical problems or failures; make necessary adjustments or repairsand replace/modify worn or defective parts. Dismantles devices to gainaccess to and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools,and power tools. Communicate with prior and oncoming shift personnelregarding status of runs, problems, etc. Qualifications High Schooldiploma or GED 3 to 5 years of related experience in a manufacturingenvironment Knowledge of polycoating, silicone coating, slitting andprinting helpful Solid Microsoft Office and Math skills Mechanical andelectrical knowledge beneficial Ability to communicate with bothinternal and external customers.
