The Maintenance Masterposition supports operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, repairingand optimizing all mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electricalsystems to ensure optimal performance of plant facilities and productionequipment. Accountability also includes completing scheduled preventivemaintenance on all facilities systems and production equipment. Performa wide range of electrical maintenance duties: Isolate equipmentmalfunctions and/or operating difficulties and correct accordingly. Testand tune a variety of machine tool servo systems and spindle drives.Work from electronic and electrical design drawings, specifications,manuals, computer printouts, schematics, notes and verbal instructions,etc. Plan and layout work, select parts and components, fit and adjustto circuits, etc. Perform a wide range of work such as installing,inspecting, testing, adjusting and repairing a variety ofelectro-mechanical systems. Requires a broad knowledge of electronics,electricity, hydraulics, mechanics and machining practices andtechniques. Operate all machines as required for troubleshooting.Perform routine and periodic maintenance on a variety of NC and CNCcontrols. Perform a wide range of mechanical maintenance duties:Installing Leveling and aligning Repairing Adjusting Rebuilding ofmachine tools and there attachments Lubricate machines as required. Haveworking knowledge of facilities material handling equipment, buildingoperating equipment, air compressors, pumps, plumbing, etc. Work frommachine design drawings, specifications, handbooks, etc. Lay out repairparts to be drill, tapped and ground in order to fit repair Utilize awide range of hand and power tools in performance of duties. UnderstandHVAC systems and boilers and how there used in the facility. Generalknowledge of carpentry, plumbing and construction skills Perform a widerange of inspection checks such as: Leveling and adjusting Checkinggeometries for flatness, straightness, parallelism, etc. Performpositioning and speed checks as necessary, test shifting, temperature,and noise level checks and a variety of other tests to determine thequalifications of the machine as per machine tool standards. Use avariety of laser test equipment, gages, and recording equipment asrequired before placing mechanical device back in operation. ISO 9001&14001 awareness and compliance Must be willing to work plannedshutdowns, holiday shutdowns and weekends as required. Also, may beasked to work nontraditional shifts.
