Maintenance Manager
PAY: $80,000-$100,000 - Depending on Experience
SHIFT 7:00am-3:30pm - Overtime as required
LOCATION: Murfreesboro, TN
Summary: Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment, and in fabricating metal parts and tools by performing the following duties.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
Directs workers in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
Maintains schedules of predictive and preventive maintenance.
Assists workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
Directs workers engaged in dismantling, assembling, and installing industrial machinery.
Requisitions and keeps supply of spare parts.
Modifies programming of robots and related equipment such as robot controllers and programmable controllers.
Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties.
Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
Performs activities of workers supervised.
Maintains a schedule of all internal work orders and schedules completion of all approved work orders.
Has responsibility for environmental compliance.
Consistently adhere to, and support, company policies and procedures, including environmental and quality standards.
Responsible for identifying, indexing, accessing, filing, storage, and disposal of records within the department.
Commit to the CI of our quality and environmental systems.
Familiar with the handling, storage, and disposal of universal waste.
Adhering to the safe launch process.
Complete a sign in sheet for Training.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Must be able to convert common units of measure and apply common formulas used in the maintenance trades.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
The employee frequently is required to: stand, walk, bend and reach (both above and below the shoulder).
The employee is occasionally required to: climb, push, or pull items.
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to: use both hands, talk, hear and see.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include depth perception.
