Take a look at the details below for the position.The Maintenance Technician III is a skilled and experienced professional responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, safety, and aesthetics of the Senior Living CCRC's physical plant. This position requires expertise in various trades, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance. The Maintenance Tech III works collaboratively with the Facilities team to address both routine and emergency maintenance issues, contributing to the overall well-being and comfort of residents.Key Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise:Demonstrate proficiency in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance.Diagnose and repair complex issues related to the facility's infrastructure.Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure optimal functionality.
Emergency Response:Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, including after-hours and weekends.Effectively troubleshoot and resolve urgent issues to minimize disruptions for residents.
Safety Compliance:Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors.Conduct routine safety inspections and address identified hazards promptly.
Record Keeping:Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment inspections.Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders and document completed tasks.
Collaboration:Coordinate with other departments to schedule and execute maintenance activities with minimal disruption to residents.Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and management regarding maintenance-related issues and updates.
Equipment Management:Monitor the condition of equipment and recommend repairs or replacements as necessary.Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring availability for routine and emergency repairs.
Training and Development:Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced maintenance staff.Stay current with industry trends and advancements through ongoing training and professional development.
Customer Service:Foster positive relationships with residents by addressing their concerns and providing excellent customer service.Display a courteous and professional demeanor while interacting with residents, staff, and visitors.Qualifications
