JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Summary: The College of Business, Industry,Life Science and Agriculture at the University of Wisconsin-Plattevilleis seeking a full-time, 9-month Construction Management Lecturer. TheDepartment of Industrial Studies has three areas of study includingManufacturing, Construction Management and Technical and EngineeringEducation. The department is looking for a dynamic full-time lecturerfor the Construction Management area. The candidate will have sharedresponsibilities in the different areas instructing at all levels. Thecandidate will also have the desire to promote Technical Education. Thisis a full-time, 9-month position with an anticipated start date ofAugust 26, 2024. Responsibilities: Responsibilities includeundergraduate teaching of courses in, or related to constructionmanagement, covering a full range from introductory to capstone levelsdependent on applicants\' qualifications and/or experience. Assist inmanagement of the construction lab that provides unique hands-onexperiences in commercial, residential, and infrastructure construction.The applicant will assist in oversight of the program and engageindustry stakeholders through advisory board and professional peergroups. Additional responsibilities include serving as academic advisor,assisting with maintaining equipment in laboratories, developingcurricula, maintaining professional contacts, engaging in scholarlyactivities, research, continued professional development, and universityand community service.
