Your role at Clorox:

To facilitate proper operations of facility waste water and perform facilities related preventive maintenance and repairs.

In this role, you will:

Utilize skills to make mechanical electrical repairs to office areas, facilities production areas, shipping receiving and grounds.

Perform preventive maintenance tasks for facilities equipment, building and property.

Run ALAR solids removal equipment

Collect waste water generated by the plant.

Treat waste water via established Standard Operating Procedures.

Document all action taken.

Test boiler water chemistry and make adjustments as needed.

Report any inconsistencies or discrepancies to the Maintenance Manager.

Report any safety violations to Safety Maintenance Manager.

Report any Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) violations to Quality Maintenance Manager.

Ability to calculate and measure.

Ability to operate motorized equipment.

Maintain operations logbooks.

Perform all required daily and weekly cleaning

Maintain an excellent team-oriented work environment.

Work with all departments to provide good customer service supporting facilities activities.

Perform Lockout / Tagout on all equipment being serviced.

Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

What we look for:

1+ year of post high school education or 1+ year of job-related work experience in performing facilities maintenance or equivalent is required.

Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds and hauling weight in excess of 100 pounds on a hand truck.

Familiar with the use of hand and power tools.

Mentally capable of learning Burt’s Bees procedures and systems.

High School Diploma is required.

Experience with ALAR water treatment systems

Starting Base Pay: $24.60; Shift Differential: $1.10 / hour
