Basic Job Functions:

　　Nucor Steel West Virginia are seeking a Maintenance Engineer that will work with the maintenance team to ensure safe and efficient operation of our sheet steel mill. While working as part of the Maintenance team, the Maintenance Engineer will lead by example with respect to safety, reliability, quality, costs, project management, and Nucor culture. The Engineer will be responsible for the execution of reliability-based programs to ensure optimum performance of plant operations in multiple applications and will ensure the effective execution of predictive and preventive maintenance programs.

　　Nucor Steel West Virginia is Nucor's new sheet mill with advanced steelmaking capabilities. This is a greenfield project, which is estimated to be operational in 2025. The new steel mill will employ 800 full-time teammates producing up to 3 million tons per year at one of the most technologically advanced sheet mills. This advanced manufacturing facility is to be located along the Ohio River in close proximity to both Huntington and Charleston, WV. This is a full-time position located at our offices in Mason County, WV.

　　Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

　　Minimum Qualifications:

　　Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.Two years of experience in industrial maintenance.

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Two years of industrial maintenance in the steel making industry.Proven leadership abilities and experience leading a team.
