Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor in the manufacturing industry, located in Elwood, Indiana. This role involves overseeing general accounting, planning, and operations tasks, and will be an integral part of our team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee general accounting functions, including AR/AP, account reconciliation, and cash management

• Implement and maintain ERP solutions to streamline financial processes

• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations

• Manage the preparation and publication of departmental and organizational financial documents

• Collaborate with department managers to develop budgets and financial plans for the company

• Analyze financial data to uncover potential cost savings and business opportunities

• Ensure all financial operations comply with federal and state laws

• Manage and supervise the accounting department's daily operations

• Ensure accurate and timely billing functions

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounting Manager or Supervisor role

• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions

• Demonstrated ability to perform key Accounting Functions

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Auditing procedures and practices

• Proficiency in executing Billing Functions

• Experience in managing and maintaining the General Ledger

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is desirable

• Professional accounting certification such as CPA is a plus.
