Additionally, where applicable, provide timely and detailed information to management on equipment status.Ability to document equipment downtime root causes, along with details regarding corrective actions taken to resolve the problem.Ability to use and document all activities in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Able to analyze test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from all sources to diagnose equipment problems.Willingness to work overtime daily and on weekends to maintain productivity on all plant equipment.The ability to multi-task, with the ability to work a flexible schedule if needed.Supporting plant systems to maintain parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level.Identifying needed equipment, parts, and suppliesRequesting the placing and expediting orders for parts and materials relating to maintenance.Verifying the receipt of incoming part/component orders.Able to use critical thinking and problem-solving to identify solutions or approaches to problems.Perform other job duties as assigned.The Toolbox (Qualifications)Must Have a Minimum of Electrical Journeyman Certificate and 2 years of Experience of Repairing Electrical Sequenced Machine Tools with & without CNC Controls and other highly automated/integrated equipment, 5+ years of proven experience with machine controls or associate degree in electrical engineering technology.Desired Experiences* Ability to maintain all types of manufacturing and facility equipment.* Capable of troubleshooting and repairing mainly electrical problems and some mechanical problems* Experience Troubleshooting Machine Tools with CNC Controls, both lathes and milling machines.o This includes understanding Servo-Controlled Systems with various types of Feedback Systems and Velocity Control commandso Possesses a competent understanding of frequency drives, motor starters, overloads, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and other electrical circuitso Detailed Understanding of Electrical Control Deviceso Basic understanding of servo-controlled devices and componentso Working knowledge of computers and networking equipment and systems.* Past Technical Training and working experience with single and three-phase AC voltages up to and including 480 volts.* Follow all applicable rules and procedures, including Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO)
