Description:
Without supervision, level three maintenance electrician perform advanced maintenance and repair tasks on electrical systems such as calibrating furnace controls, test instruments, and chart recorders, as well as conduct furnace pre-surveys. Level three electrician demonstrate advanced trouble shooting skills working with electrical equipment and systems such as VFD's, burner systems and VAR systems. Level three maintenance electrician also provide leadership and mentoring to level one and two maintenance electricians, and may be required to oversee licensed and contracted electrical work at the plant level.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Electrician is to be certified and able to complete tasks from low voltage, i.e., wiring a wall outlet to high voltage, i.e. wiring an 800 amp machine connection. Ability to read blueprints, and perform work in line with electrical building codes. Provides specific responsibility for identifying repair/replacement needs; installing, repairing and upgrading electrical system and equipment/ typically requires machine shop experience working with machines and their specific electrical needs.
