Job Description
We are currently hiring a Maintenance and Reliability Manager in Breinigsville, PA.The Maintenance and Reliability Manager is responsible for the overall brewery maintenance and coordination of related activities with other departments in full compliance with company policy and objectives. The Leader in this role must ensure food quality and safety as it relates to maintenance and may perform all or part of the following duties. This role will build a strategic reliability plan, in line with the site's overall objectives, build team capabilities to achieve strategic plans through process and leaders' development, and set and achieve financial goals that support the plan.What You'll Brew:Responsible for the hiring, onboarding, training, and retaining of engaged & high-performing coworkers.Hands-on experience in taking lines running at 50% OEE to 75+%.Ensures that direct reports are provided with clear expectations & direction and are empowered and held accountable to achieve their goals and perform their jobs.Builds a collaborative & results-oriented team by resolving conflicts as they arise, removing roadblocks, inspiring people to action, and helping the team to decide to change and/or make changes.Provides regular and meaningful feedback to coworkers through development, coaching, and comprehensive performance reviews that focuses on learning, growth and continuous improvement.Conducts themselves as a servant leader, by spending 50% of their time on the brewery floor, building the capability of their team and organization.Focuses on developing leadership capability through coaching and feedback.Implement highly effective systems to include, standard management reviews; KPI cascading; breakdown elimination; maintenance planning and scheduling routines; supports Operations in all aspectsWorks in the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Methodology; has deep experience in the Autonomous Maintenance (AM); Progressive Maintenance (PM) and Focused Improvement (FI) pillars.Leads and participates in regular metrics reviews to progress departmental and site level business commitments.Well-versed in back-office systems: work order management, planning and scheduling; inventory control, cost accounting procedures, and use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).Ability to manage budget and hit cost control measures. Further, develops annual maintenance budget through use of zero-based budgeting principlesCreates an environment of growth, learning, and progress within their teamIs willing and demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively/effectively with all coworkers.Develop and enhance employee skill sets through in-house training and/or recommended specialized training.Participates in and provides resources for troubleshooting, Root Cause Failure Analysis, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Environmental/Health/Safety programs.Maintains direct contact with the Engineering department on the latest plant machinery and systems improvements to increase manufacturing performance and reduce operating costs effectively.Responsible for selecting, training, and developing shift personnel to attain department goals.Ability to be flexible and shift priorities in a constantly changing, fast-paced work environment.Must practice safe work methods and comply with wearing and using the proper PPE on the floor 100% of the time and always work safely.What Ingredients You'll Bring:10 + years experience in a leadership role, with increasing levels of people and process responsibilityProficient in Lean and TPM methodologies.Hands-on experience in taking lines running at 50% OEE to 75+%.Overall site maintenance management with packaging, process, and facility maintenance experience in a Consumer-Packaged Goods environmentProven ability to establish work processes and systems that increase productivity.Proven experience in leveraging maintenance managers to drive re ults at the technical level.Collaborates well with others and proactively contributes to group objectives; volunteers to help othersCommand of maintenance excellence pillarsLean manufacturing experience as it relates to maintenance.Demonstrated equipment/process troubleshooting skillsDemonstrated project/idea development skillsSolid financial aptitude and experience managing a budgetKnowledge of industrial control software systemsDemonstrated experience improving employee engagement and developing high-performance teams to solve problems and deliver results.Extensive practical experience with high-speed bottling/packaging operations in food/beverage industriesStrong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.Proven analytical, planning, problem-solving, and project management skills.Some Perks:Our people are our most important "ingredient."
