　　3M is seeking a Machinist Candidate in Royersford, PA!

　　As a Machinist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

　　Read, understand and follow work orders, blueprints & engineering drawings.

　　Perform all department operations consistently at standard productivity and quality levels.

　　Maintain a clean and safe work environment, good personal safety record, report unsafe acts, conditions or equipment, keep current with safety policies.

　　Actively wear all personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by the department including safety glasses and safety shoes.

　　Select tools & select/create work holding for optimum productivity.

　　Set-up and operate manual lathes, mills, grinders as needed to machine parts to print specification.

　　Measure and verify setups and parts by measuring positions, first-run parts and sample work pieces utilizing: comparator, calipers, micrometers, bore gages, height gages, indicators and other measuring equipment needed.

　　Report time and material in manufacturing systems.

　　Your Skills and Expertise

　　To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

　　High School Diploma/GED or higher.

　　Minimum one (1) year of machinist experience in private, public, government or military environment and/or Technical School.

　　Requires taking and scoring Medium or High in the Global Advanced Manufacturing Battery Test (GAMB).

　　Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

　　Strong conceptual skills.

　　Three (3) years of related experience.

　　Functional and technical skills.

　　Understanding controls and instrumentation.

　　Attention to detail and have sound judgment.

　　Travel: No Travel
