We are seeking an experienced and talented precision Manual Machinist to join our machine shop in Carlstadt, NJ.

　　Essential Functions:

　　The Machinist will perform set-ups and machining of close tolerance aerospace hardware on large and small engine lathes, drill presses, milling machines & other shop equipment.

　　Requirements:

　　One (1) year of experience of Machinist Trade School Training with manual machines preferred.

　　Ten (10) years of experience with manual lathes and manual mills performing precision machining within 0.001 of an inch.

　　Experience as a Tool Room Machinist with initiative and ingenuity for creating a wide variety of tools, jigs, and fixtures for machining applications as needed would be a PLUS.

　　Experience should include machining Inconel, Aluminum and Steel.

　　Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings including Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).

　　Must be able to read and follow instructions from manufacturing planning and procedures.

　　Must be able to use standard measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and indicators.

　　Must be able to perform Shop Math

　　In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $34,500 - $82,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
