　　About Us In February of 2004, two mechanical engineers teamed together to form Goforth Williamson, Inc. With over 30 years of rotating equipment experience between them, Travis and David focused on developing GWI into a customer-oriented service company. Since that time, GWI has grown to a company with over 50 full-time employees. The employees of GWI are specialists in their fields. They have a vast knowledge of pumping equipment and the applications they are used in. The employees have experience from Original Equipment Manufacturers, motor shops, contractors, machine shops and other rotating equipment repair facilities.

　　ResponsibilitiesProvide Expertise in machining parts from prints and sample parts.Assist the other machinist as required.QC prints and parts as required.

　　CompetenciesCommunication skillsOperation of manual lathes, mills, VTL, Horizontal mills, surface grinder, drill press and other hand toolsUse of Precision measuring equipmentProduct Knowledge

　　Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

　　This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

　　Travel

　　Very little travel is expected for this position; however, travel could be possible.

　　Required Education and Experience

　　Must have 10 plus years of related pump machining experience.

　　Additional Eligibility Qualifications

　　A working knowledge of the parts that we commonly produce in the machine shop. These parts were discussed at the time of interview.
