TheAutomation Engineer Senior Analyst is primarily responsible forconducting advanced repair and maintenance of automated equipmentincluding, Electrical Controls, Robot Programming, and PLC Programming,in a high volume Pharmaceutical production environment.

　　Responsibilities

　　Shift schedule: Sunday to Thursday 2:30pm-11:00pm

　　Performs advanced level maintenance and service on automated equipmentby using and understanding electrical, mechanical, and pneumaticdrawings and schematics, and using special test equipment and tools.

　　Maintains the reliability of the pharmacy automation equipment as wellas the building utility systems and facility infrastructure equipment.

　　Interprets reporting system output and takes appropriate action topermanently remove root cause issues.

　　Utilizes knowledge and skill to monitor and improve the Mean TimeBetween Failures (MTBF) of the electro-mechanical equipment, and theMTBF of the supporting software control systems.

　　Troubleshoot, service, install and repair automated productionequipment, to include, electrical, robotic programming, electricalcontrols, and PLC programming.

　　Responsible for the technical support of robot and PLC based hardwareand software.

　　Execute preventive, corrective, and emergency work orders.

　　Through the direction of developers and production engineering,implement new ideas and processes.

　　Recommend alterations to developers and designers to improve the qualityor performance of processes and/or machines.

　　Observe system for degraded performance using routine inspections,maintenance rounds, and diagnostic equipment.

　　Make short term corrections as required and report findings to thecomputerized maintenance management system.

　　Use a computerized maintenance system to monitor pharmacy equipmentperformance.

　　Senior point of contact responsible for junior-level technician tasks toinclude preventive maintenance, equipment modifications, upgrades andinstalls reports and spare parts inventory.

　　Working with developers and vendors provides expert judgment andanalysis for the design, development, and implementation of technicalproducts and systems.

　　Interpret the output of the reporting systems and take appropriateaction that will result in the removal of the root cause problem fromthe system on a permanent basis.

　　Document all emergency, corrective, and preventive maintenance work viawork orders associated with Computerized Maintenance Management System(CMMS - MAXIMO).

　　Operates on-site in an on-call capacity possibility working 1st or 2ndshift.

　　Qualifications

　　High School Diploma; Associates and Bachelors degree preferred.

　　6 years of experience in a related field.

　　Mechanical experience related to automated equipment.

　　Must have experience working in high volume production or pharmaceuticalenvironment.

　　Proficient with RS Logix applications including Device Net and ControlNet and training in OSHA safety guidelines 1910.

　　Documented training in team building.

　　Root Cause Analysis training a plus.

　　Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends as neede .

　　Ability to occasionally travel to other sites and ESI facilities.

　　Knowledge of the roles within a total quality team and ability to lead agroup focusing on root cause analysis.

　　Competent use of all tools and procedures needed to repair precisionelectro-mechanical machinery successfully the first time.

　　Practical knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance systems,Computerized

　　Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to report and follow-up onmaintenance procedures and work orders.

　　Ability to troubleshoot complex computer-operated electro-mechanicalequipment

　　PLCs, I/O and field devices; repairing, setting up, adjusting and tuningmechanical systems and pneumatic or hydraulic systems.

　　Advanced experience with Verint V15 Recording and Analytics Suite.
