Position : Machine Operator - Vacation Relief Day,Swing,or Night

General Purpose
Perform job duties within the manufacturing environment to provide relief for planned (vacation, break) and unexpected absences to ensure the continual production of product.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Clean, set-up, operate, and monitor equipment on the production line
Ensure that the proper materials are used for each product being produced
Complete all required documentation and quality checks
Record and document all production runs, downtime, weights, code dates, and label verifications
Review charts, screens, quality check sheets, and specifications that are in both hard copy and electronic format
Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks on equipment in both manual and automated capacities
Prepare equipment for next run to include size changes as needed
Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties
Maintain communication with other departments, supervisor, and employees and notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production
Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format and completed with required information. Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP’s
Review process data and equipment performance data to improve quality, throughput, and troubleshoot
Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

OUR VACATION RELIEF MACHINE OPERATOR FOR THIS POSITION CAN MAKE UP TO:
$21.22 per hour plus night shift premium of $1.00/hour plus $2/hour supplemental pay
SCHEDULE:
Sunday-Saturday (24/7 operation) - positions will cover day, swing, or night shifts

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
1 year experience preferred.
Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Experience within the food and beverage industry preferred.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs, frequently lift and/or move above shoulder height, stand, walk, kneel and bend required for virtually the entire shift.
Must be able to work in a wet environment with some exposure to cleaning chemicals.
Exposure to egg and dairy allergens.
Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.
Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background and criminal checks).
