Description:
Company manufactures cabinets, countertops, and doors. Machine operators need the ability to have attention to detail when picking raw materials for machines.
Trainees responsibilities will include:
Follow detailed technical drawings of our cabinetry components to produce end products of the highest standard
Effectively and safely control a variety of woodworking machinery including CNC drills, edge banders and glue machines, and a variety of hand tools
Participate in training and mentoring of Trainee Machine Operators
Carry out rigorous quality checks to ensure high-quality standards are always met, reporting any quality issues to management and the QC team
Ability to operate machines, move and remove parts as required for cleaning processes
Adhere to stated policies and procedures regarding health and safety in the workplace
Qualifications:
Organizational skills
Flexibility, commitment and punctuality
Previous machine operating experience within a manufacturing environment
Good knowledge of manufactured products
Awareness of H&S
