POSITION SUMMARY:Operates machine to automatically fold envelopes on our 1st 2nd and 3rdshifts. 1st Shift (6:30AM - 2:30PM M-F) 2nd Shift (2:30 PM - 10:30 PMM-F) and 3rd Shift (10:30 PM - 6:30 AM Sun Night Fri Morn) WHAT DOES MYWORKDAY LOOK LIKE IN THIS ROLE? -Operates all Folding and SpecialOperations machines. -Examines work order to determine specificationsand sample verification. -Inspects product quality according to qualityguidelines. -Maintains accurate counts of envelopes to boxes, cartons,and skids. -Packs envelopes uniformly and neatly, keep up with themachine speed. -Places die cut paper stacks onto feed of machine.-Checks order throughout course of production to ensure accuratelabeling, printing, and packaging of product. -Assists in removing paperjams and preventative maintenance when scheduled. -Completes appropriatepaperwork to record labor, time and quantity. -Machine wash-ups andother cleaning duties. POSITION OTHER: Physical Demands - Whileperforming the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required tostand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee isfrequently required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Theemployee is occasionally required to walk and sit. The employee mustregularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally liftand/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by thisjob include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depthperception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment - Whileperforming the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed tomoving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment isusually loud.
