  Payrate: $19.00 - $23.00.

  Shift: 3rd shift, Monday - Friday 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM

  What’s a typical day as a Machine Operator? You’ll be:

  • Setting up and controlling various equipment for processes such as blending, drying, extraction, and filtration.

  • Weighing, measuring, and mixing raw materials following standardized formulas.

  • Preparing and loading product into ingredient processing equipment.

  • Operating and maintaining equipment to ensure efficient and consistent production.

  • Ensuring all products meet or exceed quality standards.

  • Preparing packaging and packaging product.

  • Coordinating with maintenance to diagnose equipment malfunctions and make repairs or adjustments to keep equipment in production.

  • Performing routine housekeeping activities in the department and ensuring adherence to all established procedures and requirements.

  • Completing appropriate documentation to maintain accurate records of the production process.

  • Actively participating in continuous improvement to efficiency, performance, and reduction of downtime and waste.

  • Following safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.

  • Communicating effectively with other employees and supervisors regarding any issues or concerns.

  • Training other associates for continual development.

  • Performing other duties as assigned.

  This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have 2 years of industrial manufacturing experience.

  • Have previous knowledge of food safety protocols and procedures.

  • Have basic math and analytical skills.

  • Have demonstrated ability to work independently.

  • Are able to perform basic math calculations and use computer software.

  • Are able to lift 50 lbs., climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, stand for long periods of time, work in confined spaces or at heights in a hot, dusty, noisy environment.

  • Have flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays when necessary.
