You will be working alongside highly accomplished and deeply technical scientists and engineers to develop state of the art solution for challenging problems. We are touching all aspects of language and multimodal foundation models, from data collection, data curation to modeling, evaluation and deployment. We (Spatial Perception Team) looking for a machine learning researcher to work on the field of Generative AI and multi-modal foundation models. Our team has an established track record of shipping features that leverages multiple sensors, such as FaceID, RoomPlan and hand tracking in VisionPro. We are focused on building experiences that leverages the power of our sensing hardware as well as large foundation models. You will be a part of a diverse, fast moving team based in Cupertino.

　　This position requires a highly motivated person who wants to help us advance the field of generativeAI and multi-modal foundation models. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, evaluating foundation models based on the latest advancements in the fields, taking into account future hardware design and product needs. In addition, you will have an opportunity to engage and collaborate with several teams across apple to deliver the best products.

　　At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $161,700 and $284,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
