About LPN

　　Provides prescribed medical and personal care services to patients, under the supervision of a licensed medical practitioner or health professional. duties typically include taking and recording vital signs, use of varied medical equipment, collecting samples from patients and performing routine laboratory tests, sterilizing equipment and supplies, and administering specified medication. May also provide personal care services such as bathing, dressing and assisting patients to walk, answering patient calls, and cleaning rooms or making beds.Minimum qualifications: NYS LPN license and 3 years directly related experience. Current CPR/BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required.
