  We are currently seeking a Low Band SIGINT Sensor Manager to perform Air Force Distributive Common Ground System (AF DCGS) sustainment functions across SIGINT systems. This requisition is open to candidates willing to work with a diverse, experienced team at the West Coast Hub operations center co-located with DGS-2 located onsite at Beale AFB, CA. Candidate must possess an active DoD TS/SCI clearance. This position is eligible for relocation assistance.

  The position will support LB Journeyman Expert and these DCGS duties include but are not limited to providing direct mission support and the support of existing and new weapon system infrastructure that is based upon Solaris, Linux and Windows operating systems and associated hardware. Candidates for this position should have a strong understanding of SIGINT operations and the technical expertise to support evolving Virtualized/Cloud based technologies in an Open Architecture (OA) environment. Candidates should be self-motivated, organized, possess excellent written and verbal skills, and can work independently. The candidate will be expected to support and respond to customer needs with accuracy and efficiency.   Primary Responsibilities:

  Support of Full Motion Video, other High Altitude mission assurance/operational effectiveness.

  Use dedicated ground control systems to monitor sensor and ground health and status and quickly resolve issues as they occur.

  Actively monitor and troubleshoot system issues and participate in logistics and incident reporting during problem resolution.

  Participate in integration activities by working closely with the customer, Collins in-plant engineering and other Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) when new capabilities are fielded.

  Qualifications/Experience Needed:

  Security + or higher DoD 8570 certification is required.

  Experience with military SIGINT domains to include U-2, Global Hawk, MQ-1 and MQ-9 sensors and processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED) architectures.

  UNIX (Solaris or Linux) and Microsoft Windows system administration.

  Administration of Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) or Government Off the Shelf (GOTS) software solutions used for GEOINT or SIGINT analysis (Socet GXP, GXP Xplorer, Unicorn, mIRC chat, Multi-INT Analysis and Archive System (MAAS), etc.) or other OEM software (APS, GSEG, CICS, etc.).

  Sybase, Oracle, MySQL or MongoDB database system administration.

  Experience administering VMware (containers, storage, and resources) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Docker, etc.).

  Familiar with the concepts of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and frameworks (ex. Distributed Data Framework (DDF)).

  Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.

  Active and transferable U.S. government issued DoD TS/SCI clearance is required prior to start date.

  U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

  Desired Skills:

  Knowledge of web applications and their development (Apache, APS, NET, NodeJS, etc.).

  Experience with software development methods (shell scripts, JavaScript, Python, PHP, C/C++, C#, Java, XML, HTML, etc.).

  Familiarity with x86-based server hardware and troubleshooting methods.

  Familiarity with the Serena trouble ticket reporting system.

  Understanding of cyber security tools and methods.

  In absence of degree, experience in the field of computer system administration to include some DCGS experience and/or Military equivalency is highly preferred. Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC) 1D7XX experience (former 3DXXX career field)

  The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
