About Long Term Substitute Behavioral Interventionist

  Summary:Dakota High School7 hours a day/Monday-Friday, occasional evening hours as neededStart of second semester

   

  Qualifications:Bachelors required, Master's Degree (preferred) in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or related fieldTraining and experience in conflict resolution preferredExperience in working with adolescents requiredAbility to motivate non-traditional learnersAbility to act as a role modelDemonstrates skill and sensitivity in working with all members of the school community

  Duties:Work with identified and eligible individual students who are "at risk" due to academic, social, emotional and/or behavioral issues, including conflicts with others at schoolDevelops relationships, interventions and support to the at-risk student populationReviews academic and behavior goals and makes adjustments as needed
