About the RoleEssity Manufacturing Professional Hygiene North America is currently seeking a Logistics Supply Clerk for our manufacturing facility in Barton, AL.

What You Will DoPositive participation in safety programs and initiatives;Print Loading Sheets daily and note any/all deviations for our loading team;Ensure Outbound/Inbound product delivery schedules are being maintained in OpenDock system in Excel. Contact carriers as needed for relevant information to help team stay on scheduled;Daily check for Finished Goods Product Shortages; Assist team with loading prioritization;Assist the processing of drivers in Shipping Office with Inbound/Outbound Pickups/Deliveries. Interact with drivers on consistent basis to maximize department efficiencies;Contact Customer Service as needed with any product shortages, loading abnormalities, etc.;Collect and file all Bill of Ladings (BOL) and other relevant record-keeping data for Inbound/Outbound Finished Goods and Raw Materials shipments for Logistics department;Inventory and order department supplies and create purchase requisitions in SAP as needed;Create and manage yearly blanket requisitions for the logistics department;Ensure successful food service and internal control audits by tracking and providing documentation as requested for audits;Coordinate and/or schedule external warehouse shipments/receipts;Participation/Contribution in Housekeeping/Quality programs and initiatives;Assist IDC Manager with special projects, requests, troubleshooting, peripheral job tasks, etc.;Assist with Trailer Tracking on the yard with emphasis on turning trailers on first in/fist out basis when possible to prevent detention charges;Obtain and Document ant Pro #s, Quotes, Tracking #s as needed for Amazon, Small Package, etc.;Primary contact for local security team onsite.##
Who You AreHS Diploma required, post high school degree helpful;Transportation coordination and planning experience helpful.Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required;Intermediate Excel skills required;WMS and SAP experience helpful.##
