About the Position: Performs technical logistics management work as a member of a team preparing and managing an array of assigned ammunition for Security Assistance (SA) programs providing foreign countries with a wide variety of Army-managed ammunition and related support systems according to provisions of applicable agreement(s). Responsibilities Determines the need for and recommends or initiates changes to programs publications or training as required to satisfactorily utilize ammunition. Amends programs as necessary to reflect changing requirements or conditions. Obtains price and delivery forecasts and support recommendations from commodity or project managers or responsible personnel. Performs technical reviews to determine materiel or services required and ensure presence of all necessary data required for processing. Prepares periodic or special reports for internal Command use or submission to higher HQs. Submits price forecasts, delivery forecasts, and support recommendations directly to in-country representatives, missions, or higher headquarters. Participates as the Command representative in conferences with foreign governments as required to negotiate sales or special programs, establish policy and procedures, or resolve procedural problems. Advises customers of potential delays and provides actions required and taken when unavoidable delays occur.
