　　What Does a Logistics Clerk Do?

　　A logistics clerk handles the clerical responsibilities for the shipping department in a company. In this career, your duties may include tracking inventory information and availability of products, ensuring order fulfillment, and filling out any paperwork or providing documentation for each shipment. You may coordinate with other members of the warehouse staff or with customers to ensure that you have all the information for timely delivery. You may also work to ensure that the warehouse has sufficient supplies on hand for shipping operations.

　　About You:

　　We are looking for a dedicated Logistics Clerk to join our team. Under the direction of the Operations Manager, you will coordinate all daily outbound shipments with our truck drivers to ensure they deliver orders promptly. You must be extremely organized and able to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of outbound logistics is also required. We prefer candidates who have at least one year of experience as a Logistics Clerk, but we are willing to train someone who has work experience in shipping and distribution.

　　High school diploma or GED certificate; associate degree preferred

　　Must be able to multitask and work independently

　　Proficiency in Microsoft Office

　　Friendly and helpful phone demeanor

　　Excellent communication and organizational skills

　　Attention to detail

　　SAP experience preferred
