  At a Glance

  Legrand has an exciting opportunity for aLogistics Analyst Ito join the Legrand TeaminFort Mill, SC.This position will assist Logistics Engineering Department with continuous improvement initiatives, time studies, process mapping, and data analysis.

  What Will You Do?

  · Data Analysis: R or Python for data analysis, predictive modeling, data aggregation/summarization

  · Automated reporting: Use VBA or R to create reports then store in Access, SQL Server

  · Root Cause Investigation: Both manual investigation and data analysis to determine root cause of inventory inaccuracies within the facility

  · Process improvement: Time studies, standard operating procedure documentation, process mapping

  · Manual and systematic data collection

  · Process optimization

  · Interact with managers, staff, and floor workers

  Qualifications

  Required Skills

  EDUCATION:

  · Junior or Senior in college, or recent graduate of, an accredited bachelor’s program in Industrial/Systems Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, or other relevant major.

  EXPERIENCE:

  · 0-2 years

  SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:

  · Creative approach to problem solving based on solid theoretical skill.

  · Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  · Some experience with Access, and SQL.

  · Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  · Must have an acceptable level of interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment.

  · Prepare written and verbal reports.

  · Conduct engineering studies/investigations.

  PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:

  While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to:

  · Use hands repetitively to finger, handle, feel or operate standard office equipment

  · Reach with hands and arms

  · Lift up to 25 pounds
