　　Position Summary

　　LOCATION: Locksmith Shop

　　SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 730am - 4pmPerforms operations as required by job work order and/or maintenance order in preventive maintenance.

　　Responsibilities

　　Repairs and installs various types of door hardware and general locking devices.Shall be skilled in the use of all hand and power tools used by Carpenters and Locksmiths.Shall have good knowledge of the methods and materials common to both crafts and shall have City of New York Locksmith and Keymaker License.Shall be expert in such specialized operations as setting up locking systems with master and sub-master keying; cutting keys; picking locks; and opening safes and resetting combinations.Strong verbal and written communication skills required.Minimum Qualifications

　　High school diploma or GED.Seven (7) years experience in the Locksmith Trade.
