As a Local SEO Specialist, you lead the implementation and optimization of The Local Agency clients local listings, including Google My Business, Apple Maps, Yelp, Facebook, and more. You will identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, productivity, and client partner satisfaction. You strive to increase the value of the Local SEO teams portfolio by identifying additional revenue opportunities from current accounts and providing support to the sales team by meeting with prospective client accounts. Your understanding of Local SEO, desire to learn, and flexibility will allow for your success at The Local Agency.
Job Expectations
Provide excellent service as subject matter expert and main point of contact for assigned client accounts in the The Local Agency local program.
Identify and present opportunities to enhance efficiency, profitability, innovation and client partner satisfaction to the management team.
Audit and optimize clients existing business listings in collaboration with data aggregators
Develop and present recommendations to clients based on reports and industry trends
Manage the local teams vendor relationships, including invoice review and approval
Provide assistance to other team members within the agency, including the assistance of complex problem solving on client relationships and programs.
Support the New Business and Strategy Departments with sales, organic growth, and client retention
Assist the cross departmental teams with project management requirements
Research markets, competitors, and technology trends to maintain peak Local SEO performance and ensure that our programs are properly positioned with our clients
Qualifications
Must demonstrate a proven track record of the ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task in a flexible and fast paced environment to effectively meet deadlines
Ability to effectively communicate both technical and non-technical information between internal product teams and external clients
Possess an advanced understanding of Local SEO and rankings tactics
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Utilizes strategic and analytical thinking when solving problems
Has a general understanding of SEO and Content Marketing
Required Experience
2+ years of Local Listings Management experience preferred
3+ years of experience with in-person client communication
1+ years of experience mentoring and training others
This is a salaried position with benefits such as PTO and Health Insurance available on first day of employment and 401k after 1 year. This position is fully remote.
