Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position in Loan Servicing - Support role in the finance industry, located in Middletown, Connecticut. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for processing loan applications, maintaining customer records, and providing support to customers.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process various types of loan applications including consumer loans, home equity loans, and credit cards from start to finish.

• Provide excellent customer service by managing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

• Maintain detailed and accurate customer credit records to ensure transparent transactions.

• Verify loan applications and credit criteria to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.

• Conduct comprehensive interviews with potential borrowers to understand their financial objectives and advise them accordingly.

• Actively promote and educate customers about the benefits of our products and services to strengthen customer relationships.

• Regularly update customers about the status of their accounts and provide advice on any account disputes.

• Execute wire transfers, cash advances, and issue cashier checks produced by Virtual Specialist staff.

• Manage branch coin machine operations to ensure smooth transactions.

• Open new accounts for both new and existing customers to expand our customer base. Requirements • Proficiency in 3m Coding is necessary for this role as it will be a key part of the daily responsibilities.

• Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat is required as it will be used for document management and communication.

• Experience with Automated Underwriting Systems is essential for efficient loan processing.

• Knowledge of CRM tools is a must to manage customer relationships and interactions effectively.

• Ability to process data accurately and efficiently is highly important for this role.

• Experience in handling appraisals to assess property values is required.

• Strong bank relations skills are needed to liaise with various financial institutions.

• Prior experience in a call center customer service role is needed to handle customer queries and concerns effectively.

• Familiarity with closing processes in the loan servicing industry is necessary.

• Knowledge of compliance regulations in the financial industry is a must to ensure all operations are conducted within legal guidelines.
