Description Robert Half is currently seeking a Loan Servicing Support Specialist. The Loan Servicing Support Specialist is responsible for performing support duties related to the processing and servicing of loans. These tasks include necessary processes to maintain accurate system records, payment postings, legal documents, and customer communication. What you get to do every day

Manage loan maintenance, including modifications, extensions and required changes in core processing system

Take lead on credit reporting disputes and correct credit reporting errors

Make sure to respond efficiently and accurately to routine customer inquiries via telephone and email, including generating loan payoff letters

Attend to adjustments on loans, advances, and payments

Inquire into misapplied or missing loan payments

Check for completeness and accuracy of loan documentation

Prepares escrow payments for property taxes, insurance, and association dues Requirements - Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well

High attention to detail as well as critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Proficiency with Microsoft office applications

Ability to work in a compliance driven and highly confidential environment

High school diploma or equivalent required (AA/BA/BS in Accounting, finance or economics preferred)
